The UK’s most prominent celebration of unscripted television, The National Reality TV Awards, has been recognizing top talents in the genre for the past 14 years. Now in its 15th year, the 2026 NRTAs highlight outstanding contributions in reality, entertainment, documentary, and unscripted TV from the UK and worldwide, focusing on content aired between July 1, 2025, and June 7, 2026.
The ceremony will feature the presentation of the Outstanding Contribution to Reality Television Honors, including luminaries like Sharon Osbourne & The Osbourne Family, Katie Price, Simon Cowell, Gordon Ramsay, and Davina McCall. Nominated hit programs include The Traitors, Celebrity Traitors, Love Island, Big Brother, Britain’s Got Talent, Strictly Come Dancing, Clarkson’s Farm, among others. The winners will be unveiled at the 15th Annual National Reality Television Awards on July 29 at Porchester Hall, London, streaming globally on Channel ONE TV (UK).
This year’s nominations cover 26 categories across UK broadcasters BBC One, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, streaming platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hayu, OFTV, and international productions.
Voting is currently open on the official NRTA website, where the public can review the full list of nominees and cast their votes to determine the winners.
The awards feature categories like Best Reality Competition Show, including popular series like The Traitors, Celebrity Traitors, Gladiators, Strictly Come Dancing, The Apprentice, and more. Additionally, Best Reality Non-Competition Show and Best Entertainment Show are recognized, showcasing a diverse range of programs across different networks and platforms.
Moreover, the Reality Personality of the Year category acknowledges standout individuals in the reality TV landscape, such as Rachel Duffy, Stephen Libby, Alan Carr, Karen Carney, Angryginge, Richard Storry, Toni Laites, and Cach Mercer.
