A 23-year-old woman was apprehended following an alleged knife-related incident at an Asda store in Leeds. West Yorkshire Police responded to reports of a customer making threats with a knife at the Asda on Killingbeck Road. The woman was subdued by security personnel and subsequently arrested by the police on suspicion of assault and carrying a bladed item in a public setting. She was later transported to a hospital for a minor hand injury. Another woman also sustained a minor hand injury during the altercation. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, as confirmed by a police spokesperson. Security staff at the Asda store took action upon receiving reports at 4:30 pm on Wednesday.
