In the early morning of August 14, 2023, a security guard at Magaluf’s BH Mallorca Resort stumbled upon a distressing scene. An 18-year-old girl had been viciously gang-raped by a group of seven French men and one Swiss individual, inflicting humiliation and violation upon her. These perpetrators, who had reached a plea deal with prosecutors just before their trial, have now been sentenced to a total of over 73 years in prison, fearing potential imprisonment exceeding 150 years if found guilty.

During the investigation, disturbing details of the 30-minute assault emerged, with all eight men, aged between 18 and 26 at the time of their arrests, refusing to cooperate with authorities. Despite their silence during police interrogations and court proceedings, incriminating videos filmed by the group shed light on the victim’s terrifying ordeal near Magaluf’s party district.

The security guard, starting his early shift around 5 am, found the traumatized teenager in the hotel lobby, prompting a swift police response. The girl received immediate medical care and counseling, revealing signs of physical abuse. The videos captured the heinous acts committed against her, including instances of oral penetration and rape by different individuals.

The court documents detailed the involvement of each perpetrator in the assault, with some engaging in degrading acts and others watching and encouraging the violence. The group recorded the despicable events on their phones, later sharing the content through social media to further humiliate the victim.

Several men, including Mejbri and Wisniewski, received lengthy prison sentences for sexual assault, while others were convicted for their roles in the crime. All eight offenders were sentenced to prison time and ordered to compensate the survivor with a significant sum.

Amidst the legal proceedings, some members of the group may avoid further imprisonment due to time served before their release on bail. However, others remain in custody pending additional court hearings seeking their release from Spain.
