The casualties included 14 in Burj al-Shamali near Tyre, five in Kawthariyat al-Riz, four in Habbush, six in Maarakeh, and two in Salaa. Reports of heavy explosions emerged from the city of Nabatieh, one of the 50 towns in the south and east that were forewarned by Israel of an impending attack.
Netanyahu emphasized the significant presence of Israeli forces on the ground, securing strategic positions and fortifying the security buffer zone to protect northern Israeli communities.
Despite ongoing violence, Washington and Tehran acknowledge progressing towards finalizing a memorandum of understanding, though differing demands pose challenges.
