“Tragic Fall: Boy, 3, Dies in South London”

A tragic incident unfolded in south London as a three-year-old boy passed away after falling from a building in Sutton. The emergency services swiftly responded to the scene at a residential complex following reports of the child’s fall. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the child succumbed to the injuries sustained in the fall.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. A woman in her thirties has been apprehended on suspicion of neglecting the child. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the woman has been released on bail as the investigation progresses.

Eyewitnesses recounted that the toddler fell from a second-floor window of the apartment building. The police were alerted to the situation at 17:18hrs on Sunday, 24 May, and promptly arrived at the scene, accompanied by medical teams. Tragically, the young boy could not be saved, and his family has been notified of the heartbreaking loss.

The police spokesperson provided details of the incident, stating that the investigation remains ongoing. The woman arrested in connection with the case is expected to return for further questioning. The authorities are diligently working to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
