Actor Junade Khan recently joined the cast of ‘Coronation Street’ as Idris Nazir, showcasing his family’s acting legacy. Idris, Alya Nazir’s cousin, quickly made an impact on Weatherfield residents.

In addition to stirring up drama, Idris embarked on a romance with Leanne Battersby, despite Alya’s caution about his character. Outside of the show, Junade enjoys a happy marriage with his wife, Gem, and they have two children, Alara-Star and Pacino, who are also child actors.

Junade proudly shared that his children have been actively involved in the entertainment industry, with his daughter working alongside Angelina Jolie and his son appearing in a Marvel film and other projects. This year, Junade revealed that his five-year-old son landed a role on a TV show he adores, showcasing his passion and talent at a young age.

Junade’s wife also celebrated their daughter’s success in a blockbuster movie, directed by Ridley Scott, expressing pride and excitement for her role. ‘Coronation Street’ airs on ITV1 and ITVX, Monday to Friday at 8:30 PM.
