Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox has made a comeback with a fresh season, featuring well-known personalities such as Vernon Kay, Paddy McGuinness, Roman and Martin Kemp, Vicky Pattison, and Pete Wicks sharing their views on TV shows from the comfort of your living room.
Among the new celebrity duo on the show are Vogue Williams and her close friend Joanne McNally. During their podcast, “My Therapist Ghosted Me,” Vogue expressed her surprise at the quick turnaround of the show’s production process. She mentioned that typically, filmed content takes months or even years to be released, but this show was out within a day.
Joanne humorously shared that for her, lounging on a couch and discussing TV programs felt like a dream job, and it was a relief to have a job that could keep her energetic friend Vogue in one place. Vogue added that she would love to see more TV programs focusing on mundane activities, like observing people’s shopping items at a supermarket checkout.
The pair also discussed their thoughts on the reality show “Extreme Couponing,” which Vogue described as unappealing, yet strangely captivating. Despite her reservations, she confessed a guilty pleasure for the series.
Although Vogue is a busy mom-of-three with another baby on the way, Joanne noted that she never stays still for long. Vogue teased that the upcoming autumn arrival of her fourth child will be accompanied by an eccentric name, in line with her other children’s unique names.
Jokingly, Vogue hinted that the chosen name for the new baby is unconventional and will surprise many. She mentioned that the name is so distinct that Joanne had a strong reaction upon hearing it for the first time. Vogue emphasized that she grew up with an unusual name herself and acknowledged the uniqueness of unconventional names.
Furthermore, Vogue playfully teased Joanne about the requirements for a person to carry off the suggested name, implying that the new baby would need to be at least an “eight out of 10” in terms of appearance to pull it off effortlessly.
