Perrie Edwards is celebrating as she marries footballer partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The former Little Mix member is having her wedding in Quinta do Lago, Portugal, four years after their engagement. Perrie, who reportedly owns a nearby villa, is familiar with the area.
The private event will include Perrie’s ex-bandmates, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, flying in for the special occasion. The luxurious resort where the wedding guests are staying charges up to £2,800 per night for a room.
Before the wedding, the stars and attendees mingled at a pre-ceremony gathering, with footballer Harrison Reed among the guests. It is reported that Alex’s brother was one of the last to leave the celebration, with most guests departing by 10 pm.
Guests enjoyed pizzas, pastas, and cocktails at the resort’s Italian restaurant. Perrie recently expressed her excitement about the upcoming wedding, mentioning other aspects of her busy life, including babies, dogs, and wedding planning.
While anticipating her wedding day, Perrie hinted at the absence of Jesy Nelson, emphasizing that their friendship is unlikely to reconcile. In an interview with Jamie Laing, Perrie emphasized the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions in challenging situations.
Responding to Perrie’s comments, Jesy’s sister, Jade Nelson, defended Jesy’s character in a lengthy Instagram post, highlighting Jesy’s supportiveness during difficult times.
