Brooklyn Beckham reportedly felt uneasy seeing photos of his sister, Harper, at his residence. The Beckham family has been experiencing tension, with Brooklyn expressing earlier this year his lack of interest in reconciling with them.
Recently, David Beckham was honored with a star on the renowned Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony, which took place near Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham’s home, was a significant event for the family.
Shortly after the star unveiling, Harper, aged 14, arrived at Brooklyn’s residence in Los Angeles in a chauffeur-driven car, still dressed in her pink attire from the ceremony. However, any expectation of a gesture towards her brother was dashed as Harper did not enter the property.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn was in New York at the time, sharing a photo of himself on a run, although he was aware of the circulating images of his sister’s visit. A source revealed that Brooklyn and Nicola were informed of Harper’s visit but chose not to respond, feeling uncomfortable about the perceived orchestrated nature of the visit.
Images captured Harper walking alone to the gates in her pink dress, with insiders mentioning that her visit was unannounced and that she was the sole family member to make the trip.
In response to the situation, a spokesperson for Brooklyn dismissed the incident as a staged scenario for the cameras. However, a source close to David and Victoria Beckham refuted these claims, emphasizing the innocence of Harper and highlighting the unnecessary nature of the accusations.
While the Beckham family has maintained silence on the matter, Romeo, one of Brooklyn’s brothers, showed support for Harper on social media. He posted a picture with Harper on Instagram, expressing his fondness for her. Another brother, Cruz, also shared family photos on his Instagram, including one with David.
Before the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, David had made it clear that he would not discuss the rift with Brooklyn, who had previously requested communication through his legal representatives. In a statement earlier this year, Brooklyn accused his family of manipulating the media and interfering in his relationship with his wife, expressing his resolve not to reconcile with them.
Representatives for Brooklyn and Victoria Beckham have been approached for comments by the Mirror.
