Royal Scandal: Crown Princess’s Son Convicted of Rape

Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Crown Princess Mette Marit of Norway, has been convicted of two counts of rape and has been handed a four-year prison sentence.

The 29-year-old, who became part of the royal family through Mette-Marit’s marriage to Crown Prince Haakon in 2001, has refuted the most serious allegations against him, including those related to rape, and retains the right to challenge the court’s decision.
