Earlier today, Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency disclosed that at least 16 individuals perished in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah reported fierce clashes in the region. In parallel, Israel confirmed the loss of four soldiers, including a lieutenant colonel, in the southern Lebanon conflict.

The peace agreement between the US and Iran, which encompasses Lebanon, was signed by US President Donald Trump to avert potential economic crises. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran resulted in surging oil prices in the West, causing financial market fluctuations and rising inflation rates.

Following the US-Iran peace treaty, the US revealed that over 12.5 million barrels of oil were transported through the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday night.
