“Magician Vanishes: Armed Forces Join Search Efforts”

Published on

A magician named Daniel Hidden, aged 26, has mysteriously disappeared in a secluded wilderness area prompting the deployment of armed forces to aid in the search efforts. Last seen leaving his residence in Queensland, Australia at 3 am on June 14, driving a silver Hyundai towing a caravan, he has not been sighted since then.

Authorities have initiated an extensive search operation for Daniel, who turned off his phone at 6 am on the day he went missing. Described as a 26-year-old with long black hair, a black beard, and brown eyes, he was last observed wearing a maroon top and black cargo pants.

A collaborative search involving law enforcement, firefighters, and volunteers has been organized, combing the expansive Springbrook area. After two days of searching, his silver Hyundai Santa Fe and Galaxy caravan were discovered near Currumbin Creek Rd, several miles south of his residence in Gold Coast.

Firefighters and drones are scouring the vast Currumbin valley region, which is a remote part of the Springbrook National Park. Due to the challenging terrain and extensive search area, emergency services have enlisted reinforcements from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to aid in the search efforts.

Police have deemed Daniel’s disappearance as unusual, especially given the cryptic message on his website stating, “Transformation requires disappearance.” Although the timing of the message’s appearance on his site is unclear, it is not currently linked to his vanishing.

In a separate incident, the grandparent of a four-year-old boy named Gus Lamont, who went missing in the Australian Outback nearly a year ago, has come forward. Gus was last seen playing outside his family’s sheep station, Oak Park Station, near Yunta on September 27, before disappearing without a trace.

Despite 11 extensive searches of Oak Park Station, no clues regarding Gus’s whereabouts have been found on the vast South Australian sheep farm. Speaking publicly for the first time, grandparent Josie Murray refuted any involvement in her grandson’s disappearance, despite being considered a suspect in the police investigation.

During an interview with 7News’ Spotlight program, Ms. Murray expressed disbelief at the police theory implicating her in Gus’s disappearance, suggesting that the notion of her involvement does not align with logic.
