Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas, known as Duda, fell from a 130ft high bridge in Limerira, Sao Paulo state, on June 13. Shocking footage captured the moment when the 21-year-old was thrown off the bridge without being secured to a rope.
São Paulo’s Civil Police have made progress in the case, announcing the arrest of three individuals – a 29-year-old woman and two men aged 25 and 27. Search and seizure warrants have been carried out at their residences. Investigators suspect the concealment of crucial evidence, particularly regarding the missing camera that Duda had with her during the fatal jump.
Temporary arrest warrants were issued by the 2nd Criminal Court of Limeira, leading to the detention of the three suspects. The investigation suggests that those arrested were involved in organizing the ill-fated activity.
