Sue Radford has been flooded with supportive messages after providing an update on the health of two of her children during the recent heatwave. Known as the mum of 22, Sue gained initial fame in 2012 through her appearance on the Channel 4 documentary “15 Kids and Counting,” featuring several large British families, including the Radfords. Subsequently, a follow-up series titled “16 Kids and Counting” focused specifically on the Radfords.
Today, the Radford family is most well-known for their Channel 5 show, “22 Kids and Counting,” which showcases their daily lives as the largest family in Britain. In a recent social media post on the official Radford family Instagram and Facebook accounts, Sue disclosed that two of her children had contracted a stomach bug.
Accompanied by a photo of her hand holding a mug that reads “queen of everything,” Sue wrote, “Morning everyone, it’s a hot one today. What are you all up to today? Bonnie has gone on a school trip today, which she was very excited about, but we have Casper and Archie staying home from school due to the dreaded tummy bug. Bonnie informed us that many other children are also affected, so it seems to be spreading.”
In response to Sue’s update, followers expressed their well wishes. One person commented, “Hope they get well soon,” while another wrote, “It’s nice to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the sickness. I hope they recover soon and Bonnie enjoys her trip.”
The Radford family’s journey began when Sue and Noel met as children and later became a couple in their teenage years. Their first child, Christopher, was born when Sue was 14 and Noel was 18. They tied the knot when Sue was 17 and Noel was 21. In addition to raising their large brood, the couple also operates a pie business called Radford’s Pies in Morecambe, Lancashire.
The Radford clan includes a total of 22 children, spanning from Christopher, born in 1989, to the youngest addition, Heidie, born in 2020. Each child holds a unique place in the family, contributing to the vibrant and bustling Radford household.
