A British toddler, aged three, is currently in critical condition at a hospital in Spain after her parents found her unconscious in their holiday villa pool. The child was rushed to the hospital with a weak pulse, and her condition has not shown signs of improvement since then, as per local reports.
This incident marks the fourth tragic event involving British families within a week, following the deaths of three children aged one, three, and four in separate incidents in the Costa del Sol and the Canary Islands.
The young girl was discovered in the pool at her family’s villa in Pollensa, located in northern Mallorca. She is currently receiving care at Son Espases Hospital in Palma, the capital of the island. Authorities were alerted to the situation around 8 p.m. on the day of the incident.
Upon finding their daughter unconscious in the water, the parents jumped in and attempted to rescue her before local police intervened. Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after, successfully resuscitating the child through CPR before transporting her to the hospital.
