Katie Price’s spouse, Lee Andrews, has expressed his readiness to undergo a live television lie detector test to refute recent allegations against him. Andrews, a self-proclaimed entrepreneur, has been vocal on social media, sharing a selfie with Price on Instagram, captioned “Britain’s bad boy Lee Andrews agrees to live TV lie detector test.” This post follows his release from Al Awir prison in Dubai.
The 43-year-old found himself in custody following fraud accusations, which he vehemently denies, asserting that he was apprehended at gunpoint under suspicion of espionage. Since reactivating his Instagram account, Andrews has been actively addressing the situation, challenging media reports and asserting the absence of any evidence supporting the claims made against him.
He has expressed a desire to travel to the UK for potential television appearances, hinting at a cameo on the popular soap opera, EastEnders, despite facing travel restrictions in the UAE. In a Cameo video shared with The Sun, Andrews hinted at his upcoming TV ventures, including a possible role on EastEnders.
Contrary to speculations, sources have clarified that there are no current plans for Andrews to feature on EastEnders. Despite his marriage to Price earlier this year, he is yet to visit the UK or meet her family, although he has claimed to have taken on a parental role for her five children.
Andrews also expressed interest in appearing on Good Morning Britain alongside Price to address criticisms from presenter Susanna Reid. He called for Reid to be dismissed after she labeled him a “conman” during a discussion about his Dubai ordeal.
Reports suggest that Andrews could face re-incarceration if he fails to settle outstanding debts in Dubai within a specified timeframe. Documents have revealed debts related to a rental car and legal expenses in the UAE. His representative stated that Andrews appeared in court but lacked access to the necessary funds to clear the debt, requesting additional time for payment.
Maintaining his innocence, Andrews remains determined to clear his name amidst ongoing legal uncertainties.
