Harriet Cowan, a rising star from the popular show Clarkson’s Farm, recently shared her experience visiting Diddly Squat Farm with her father, suggesting that Jeremy Clarkson missed an opportunity during their visit.
The duo attended the Cereals 2026 farming event at the farm, which featured various stalls, attractions, and food stands for visitors to explore. One notable area was the Soil Hole, focusing on the science of regenerative agriculture.
In a video on her YouTube channel, Harriet, who filled in for Kaleb Cooper on Clarkson’s Farm, humorously suggested renaming the Soil Hole to “Clarkson’s Hole.” Playfully bantering with her dad, she quipped, “What did we find?” to which he jokingly replied, “Jeremy’s hole.”
Harriet, aged 25, gained prominence through her role on Clarkson’s Farm, leading to significant changes in her life, including stepping away from her nursing career due to the newfound fame. Despite this shift, she expressed openness to returning to nursing, emphasizing the hard work she put into earning her nursing credentials.
Reflecting on her time working with Jeremy on the farm, Harriet shared insights during an interview on the Fed by Farmers podcast, praising Jeremy’s approach and mentorship. She commended his positive impact on agriculture and highlighted the progress in promoting inclusivity for women in the industry.
Acknowledging the evolving landscape for women in agriculture, Harriet noted the improvements in perceptions and opportunities, thanks in part to shows like Clarkson’s Farm. She highlighted the challenges of navigating stereotypes and preconceived notions post-fame, underscoring the need for a balanced perspective on individual capabilities beyond TV portrayals.
