Lady Louise Windsor recently graduated from the University of St Andrews, celebrating her achievement with her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. The 22-year-old completed her English and international relations degree after four years of study. New photos were released to mark the occasion, including one of her in her graduation robe with her degree certificate and another with her parents, Sophie and Prince Edward.
She was seen with her boyfriend, fellow student Felix da Silva-Clamp, before embarking on a gap year involving work, volunteering, and travel. Lady Louise joins her cousin Prince William and his wife, Kate, as St Andrews University alumni. During her graduation, she participated in the university’s traditional ‘capping’ ceremony, supported by her parents.
Tomorrow, Lady Louise will receive her Duke of Edinburgh’s gold award from her father, Edward, at a special event in Edinburgh. Born prematurely in 2003, Lady Louise and her brother have mostly lived away from the public eye. While not expected to pursue royal duties, Lady Louise may consider a career in the military, following her interest in carriage driving, a passion passed down from her grandfather, Prince Philip.
