Spanish winger Lamine Yamal’s three-year-old brother stole the show with his enthusiastic celebration during Spain’s World Cup triumph over Austria. The 2010 champions secured a spot in the last 16 with a convincing 3-0 victory in Los Angeles, courtesy of goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro.

While Yamal, 18, didn’t score, he posed a continuous threat during the game. However, it was his younger brother, Keyne, cheering from the stands, who captured the hearts of football enthusiasts worldwide.

A video of the little boy celebrating Spain’s third goal went viral, with fans adoring his spirited “Vamos!” chant. One supporter stated, “Such a big fan of his brother,” while another remarked, “It’s the most Spanish ‘vamos’ I’ve ever seen.”

After the match, Yamal, who plays for Barcelona, expressed his emotional reaction to witnessing his brother’s joy. He shared, “I feel emotional to see my brother happy. My mom is also thrilled with the life she always wanted. I love this. I am in love with my brother. He’s like a son to me.”

Yamal and his Barcelona teammate Pau Cubarsí, 19, made history as the first teenagers to start a World Cup knockout match together since Brazil’s Pelé and José Altafini in 1958. Yamal has already left his mark on the tournament, scoring in Spain’s 4-0 win against Saudi Arabia. He has received praise from various football figures, including Eden Hazard, who likened him to his early playing days.
