Katie Price has disclosed her experience at the Playboy mansion when she was personally invited by Hugh Hefner to reside there. Back in the summer of 2002, Katie, then known as Jordan, was offered the opportunity to visit the United States by Hefner.
During her stay, Hefner expressed interest in featuring Katie in Playboy magazine and compensated her with a substantial six-figure amount. In a recent Sky documentary about her life, Katie revealed that she received around a quarter of a million for the opportunity. Despite Hefner’s proposal for her to become one of his girlfriends, Katie declined due to her unwillingness to engage in a physical relationship with him.
In 2002, Katie spent up to six weeks at the mansion, shortly after the birth of her son Harvey in May of that year. She flew Harvey and her mother Amy to America to stay in a nearby hotel while she resided at the Playboy mansion. Photographer Jeany Savage, who frequently photographed Katie during her time as a glamour model, also joined her for part of her stay.
Contrary to common perceptions of continuous wild parties, Katie described her time at the mansion as structured and organized, with daily activities planned. She mentioned that the scenes at the mansion were more like a glamorous setting with girls in bikinis engaging in activities like playing beach ball, while Hefner and his friends played cards.
Katie also shared details of certain routine activities that occurred on specific days of the week, including nights out and intimate gatherings. She mentioned witnessing explicit activities involving other girls and Hefner during her stay.
Additionally, the documentary featured comments from photographer Jeany Savage, who remarked on the presence of cocaine at the mansion. The documentary also touched on the criticism Katie faced for her immediate return to work after Harvey’s birth and for involving him in various public appearances.
Despite the criticism, Katie defended her actions, stating that she is proud of her son and her decisions were based on her public persona and career. The documentary sheds light on Katie’s journey and personal challenges, providing an insight into her life and decisions.
Katie Price’s documentary series, “Katie Price: Nothing to Hide,” will premiere on Sky and streaming service NOW on 8 July. For more entertainment news and updates, follow Mirror Celebs on various social media platforms.
