The 55-year-old presenter was last seen on the ITV breakfast program on Monday, June 22, providing live coverage of Sir Keir Starmer’s resignation as the Labour Party leader outside Number 10 Downing Street.
Sir Keir has announced his resignation, but will continue in his role until the new leadership contest concludes. He has initiated the process for finding his successor, with nominations opening on Thursday, July 9, and closing by Thursday, July 16.
After taking a break for a “special project,” Susanna will return to co-host Good Morning Britain alongside Ed Balls on Monday morning, July 6. She expressed her excitement about being back on the show in an Instagram post on Sunday, July 5, where she contemplated watching England’s World Cup game against Mexico before her early morning start.
Fans eagerly welcomed Susanna’s return, expressing joy and anticipation. Since 2014, Susanna has been a prominent figure on Good Morning Britain, sharing the screen with Kate Garraway, Richard Madeley, Ed Balls, and previously, Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
