Philip Olivier, known for his role in the TV series Brookside, tied the knot with his longtime partner Amy Virtue. The wedding took place at the Daffodil Liverpool venue on July 4, attracting family and friends, including his former co-star Jennifer Ellison. Olivier, who portrayed Timothy “Tinhead” O’Leary on Channel 4’s Brookside from 1996 until the show’s conclusion in 2003, sported an all-white suit and sunglasses, while Virtue dazzled in a lace gown and matching choker.
Jennifer shared moments from the celebration on social media, showcasing the menu and a glimpse of the newlyweds. Other Brookside actors, such as Leon Lopez and Paul Byatt, attended the event, along with Emmerdale and Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas.
The couple, who have been together for an extended period, have five children together. While continuing to make sporadic media appearances, Philip Olivier now oversees Liverpool City Sights as the CEO, operating open-top bus tours in the city. His career has seen diverse roles post-Brookside, including voice work on Doctor Who audio plays, appearances on various TV shows, and his involvement in the hospitality industry with the Liverpool B&B, Yellow Submarine.
