The director and a producer of the documentary featuring Katie Price now streaming on Sky have shared their experience of meeting Katie for the first time.

Titled “Katie Price: Nothing to Hide,” the new production chronicles Katie’s journey from the beginning of her career to the present day. Paddy Wivell directs the film, with Laura Wadha serving as one of the producers.

Both Paddy and Laura made an appearance on Katie Price’s vodcast, where they engaged in a discussion about the documentary. During the conversation, Katie inquired about their initial impressions of her when they first visited her at home.

While Paddy expressed some nerves and emphasized the importance of establishing a connection, Katie interjected, seeking a direct response to her query on her hospitality. Laura reassured Katie, mentioning how welcoming and accommodating she was, offering tea and engaging in friendly conversation.

Reflecting on the experience, Paddy noted the relaxed atmosphere and absence of any diva behavior, highlighting the authenticity of their interactions with Katie. He acknowledged feeling a bit apprehensive initially, aiming to ensure that the final product would resonate effectively.

Paddy emphasized the significance of building genuine relationships with the subjects of the film, underscoring the desire for viewers to perceive the intimacy and authenticity in the storytelling. He stressed that establishing a connection with the audience through these relationships enriches the viewing experience and enhances the storytelling process.

In a separate instance, Katie discussed the involvement of her children, Junior and Princess, in the documentary. She recounted their insistence on honesty regarding their experiences during her challenging times, including struggles with breakdowns and substance use.

During an appearance on This Morning, Katie revealed the emotional conversations she had with her children, expressing regret for the pain they endured during her difficult periods. She acknowledged the impact of her struggles on her parenting, but also shared the relief of having regained a stronger bond with her children after overcoming those challenges.
