Emergency responders promptly arrived at a dwelling in Mount Gambier, Australia, where they found four occupants unconscious inside the premises just before 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 11.
A police representative stated: “Authorities are compiling a report for the Coroner following an incident in Mount Gambier this morning. The alert was raised just before 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, when emergency services were summoned to a residence on Penola Road after discovering four unconscious individuals inside the property.
“Regrettably, a 55-year-old man passed away at the scene. The three other occupants were transferred to the hospital for treatment of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. Law enforcement in Limestone Coast is conducting an investigation, and there is currently no suspicion of foul play in this incident.”
