Residents in the Highlands have been forced to evacuate their homes as a massive wildfire rages, prompting authorities to instruct people to prioritize their safety over their pets.
The fire erupted in the Cairngorms National Park on Wednesday, generating significant smoke that drifted towards nearby towns, triggering a swift response from emergency services.
Firefighters and specialized wildfire teams swiftly deployed to Ryvoan Bothy near Nethy Bridge, where the wildfire originated, with no injuries reported.
