Spider-Man: No Way Home actress Mary Rivera passed away at the age of 82. The renowned Marvel star, famous for portraying the grandmother of Jacob Batalon’s character Ned in the movie, died in a Hawaii hospital earlier this year following a stroke that led to a critical condition. Her family, informed about the seriousness of her state, ultimately made the difficult decision to disconnect life support, and she peacefully passed away on April 15. A memorial service in her honor took place on June 6 at the Trinity Central Oahu Church in the Mililani Tech Park.
Numerous tributes flooded in for the late actress on her public obituary, with one friend expressing deep sorrow: “You will be greatly missed as my mentor and colleague. My sincerest condolences to the Rivera family during this trying period.” Another individual extended sympathies to the family, describing her as a truly kind, warm-hearted, and affectionate person.
