Former Celebrity Big Brother champion Stephen Bear has been handed a 16-month immediate prison sentence for violating a restraining order intended to safeguard Georgia Harrison.

Judge Christopher Morgan criticized Bear, aged 36, for “victim blaming” by posting about Georgia on social media multiple times last year, breaching the order’s terms.

The restraining order was linked to his 2023 conviction for filming a sex tape of ex-Love Island personality Georgia without her consent, subsequently posting it online. This offense led to a 21-month prison term, of which he served just over half before being released from HMP Brixton in January.

In a statement at Chelmsford Crown Court, Georgia, aged 31, expressed feeling “petrified” due to Bear’s online presence, citing concerns for her safety.

Bear, accompanied by his pregnant wife Miami, arrived at court hand-in-hand this afternoon, expressing optimism as he entered the building. The couple announced their pregnancy in March, expecting their first child.

Following the sentencing, Georgia praised Essex Police for taking her case seriously and treating it as a genuine crime, emphasizing the importance of proper handling and enforcement in such situations.

Bear pleaded guilty to five counts of failing to comply with sex offenders register notification requirements at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
