A woman has recounted a distressing incident during a flight where she was reportedly sexually assaulted while holding her young daughter. The mother, traveling solo with her four-year-old child, was asleep when the alleged assault occurred on a flydubai flight. Beaut Pimpaporn, a 33-year-old from Thailand, was on her way back from Milan to Bangkok via Dubai when she and her daughter experienced the frightening incident mid-flight.

The mother had taken sleeping pills while her daughter was resting on her lap during the six-hour journey on flight FZ-1583. Upon waking up, she discovered a male passenger allegedly touching her inappropriately. The man quickly stopped when he realized she was awake, attempting to conceal his actions and divert attention by adjusting the entertainment screen.

Despite feeling shocked and violated, the woman chose to wait until the flight landed in Bangkok before reporting the incident to the cabin crew and filing a police report. The man initially denied the accusations but eventually confessed when questioned by the flight attendant in Arabic.

Following the ordeal, the assailant made a scene, pleading for forgiveness and causing a commotion onboard. The flight attendant intervened, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation and involving the police. It was revealed that the man was part of a tour group, with his companions trying to intervene on his behalf.

Tourist police and immigration officers eventually escorted the man off the plane and to the police station for further investigation. While no charges have been filed yet, the victim, Beaut Pimpaporn, decided to share her story publicly to raise awareness about the safety risks faced by solo female travelers.

She emphasized the importance of speaking up and seeking help if faced with uncomfortable situations, urging other women not to feel ashamed or embarrassed. In response to inquiries, a flydubai spokesperson declined to comment on the incident, citing passenger privacy and ongoing investigations as reasons for non-disclosure.

The safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain a top priority for the airline, as stated by the spokesperson.
