A fugitive who fled from Milner Ridge Correctional Centre on Wednesday evening has been apprehended and is now in police custody, authorities confirmed. The RCMP received a report of Justin Paul’s escape from the provincial detention facility located in the rural area of Lac du Bonnet, northeast of Winnipeg, at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a police statement released on Thursday morning. Paul was apprehended near the intersection of Highway 11 and Minnewawa Street W. in Lac du Bonnet around 11 a.m. on Thursday, as per an update from law enforcement.
