Louise Thompson recently shared that she is confined to bed while dealing with a new health issue. This update follows her previous announcement that she would not be able to expand her family further after facing life-threatening complications during the birth of her son Leo in 2021, leading to post-traumatic stress disorder. The 35-year-old revealed that she has developed Asherman’s Syndrome, a condition where scar tissue in the uterus causes complications, exacerbated by bowel issues and an emergency surgery following post-natal bleeding.

Currently, Louise is working from her bed due to a recent bout of sickness. In a video shared on her Instagram stories, she informed her followers about her health setback, mentioning that she felt unwell the day before and had to work from bed. She sympathized with her colleagues who were also dealing with similar health issues, emphasizing the frustration of dealing with viral illnesses without a definitive cure.

Louise, who previously spoke about her traumatic birth experience to the Birth Trauma All-Party Parliamentary Group with former MP Theo Clarke, is now advocating for improved maternity care by launching a petition urging the government to appoint a commissioner to oversee such care. Additionally, she disclosed that she has been diagnosed with a 5cm haemorrhagic cyst on her right ovary, although she is not experiencing any discomfort from it. She expressed surprise at the discovery, noting the significant size of the cyst in comparison to her abdominal area.
