A significant fire engulfed the clubhouse of a historic sports ground in the morning, causing devastation to the Penarth Rugby Club near Cardiff, Wales. The club, serving as the headquarters for the town’s cricket and hockey teams, was swiftly attended by fire crews and emergency services to contain the blaze that started around 5am, successfully bringing it under control within three hours.

Penarth Athletic Club, renowned for hosting annual matches against the Barbarians, suffered a mysterious overnight fire that ravaged the main bar area and resulted in smoke damage throughout the premises. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the flames before further spreading.

Confirming the incident, the athletic club stated that emergency services acted promptly to fully put out the fire, emphasizing the safety of staff and visitors as their top priority.
