Cheshire Police are currently in pursuit of an escaped convict, Kieran Cameron, who was serving a 23-year prison sentence for attempted murder in Dorset back in 2016. Cameron absconded from HMP Thorn Cross in Warrington, prompting an urgent appeal from law enforcement for assistance from the public in locating him. It is advised that individuals do not approach Cameron and instead contact emergency services immediately if spotted.

The incident at Portsmouth Crown Court revealed that Cameron, along with another individual named Michael O’Rourke, viciously attacked a 22-year-old man from Poole, inflicting multiple stab wounds in an attempt to shift blame onto a rival gang. Despite the severity of the crime, Detective Sergeant Jamie Halford emphasized that such violent acts involving knives are intolerable and will be met with severe consequences by the authorities.

Following his recent escape, it was disclosed that Cameron, a 43-year-old with distinctive features including a receding ginger and grey beard, has connections to Manchester, Liverpool, and Dorset. Detective Chief Inspector Nick Henderson of Cheshire Police urged the public to report any sightings of Cameron immediately without engaging with him directly.
