Apple, well-known for its MacBook laptops, iPad tablets, and iconic iPhones, is experiencing a surge in the popularity of its services. The company has reported a successful year with a significant increase in users engaging with its audio, TV streaming, and news platforms.
Apple Music, now accessible on both iOS and Android devices, achieved its highest performance ever in 2025, setting new records in terms of listenership and new subscribers. The platform introduced various updates last year, such as Lyrics Translation and AutoMix, offering a personalized DJ experience on-the-go.
In addition to the music sector, Apple TV witnessed a substantial rise in user engagement, with December statistics indicating a 36% increase in viewing time for shows like Slow Horses and The Studio compared to the previous year. Apple TV expanded its content library by adding new shows and movies, including the F1 film featuring Brad Pitt and the highly-rated drama Pluribus.
The App Store also had a successful year, attracting over 850 million weekly users globally. The platform experienced a peak in visitor numbers between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, with customers setting a new spending record on digital products and services during this period.
Furthermore, Apple Podcasts achieved its best performance yet, breaking records in terms of listenership, plays, and subscribers. Apple’s services also saw enhancements in other areas, including the expansion of Apple Fitness+ to more regions and the addition of over 50 new games to Apple Arcade.
Apple enhanced its Share Item Location feature in Find My by partnering with 27 additional airlines, increasing the total to 36 airlines. This feature enables secure sharing of location information for AirTags or Find My network accessories with airline customer service, significantly reducing lost or unrecoverable luggage incidents.
Apple Maps expanded its Detailed City Experience to include new locations like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, showcasing 3D landmarks, including a custom F1 Monaco Grand Prix experience.
