Several weather warnings and alerts are in effect, with specific attention drawn to the potential impact of the next snowfall on areas like the River Teme at Stanford Bridge in Worcestershire. Water levels in the River Severn at Severn Ham in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, and the South Winterbourne Valley in Dorset are reported as high by the Environment Agency.

Following the snowfall expected on Thursday and Friday, weather conditions are expected to be changeable. The Met Office predicts that further low-pressure systems moving in from the Atlantic will bring showers or prolonged periods of rain across many regions. The likelihood of heavy rain is emphasized, especially in western areas, with intermittent periods of windy weather. However, drier and more settled periods are anticipated, mainly towards the east.
