Amanda Holden recently discussed her wish to expand her family with her husband, Chris Hughes. The 53-year-old actress has been married to Hughes since 2008, following their initial meeting in Los Angeles.

Before getting married, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Lexi, who is now 19 years old. Tragically, they experienced the loss of their second child, Theo, in 2011 due to stillbirth. However, they found joy again with the arrival of their second daughter, Hollie, the following year.

During an appearance on Heart Breakfast, Amanda expressed her desire to have had more children if she had met Chris earlier. She jokingly mentioned that she would have liked to have had four children but ended up with two.

Amanda also hinted at wanting to adopt another puppy, adding a playful note to her plea by saying, “Darling, I love you.” The couple already has rescue pets, including a dog named Rudie and a cat named Muffy from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Last year, they welcomed another cat named Bolt after Amanda fell in love with him during a trip to Greece.

However, introducing Bolt into their pet family posed some challenges, as Amanda shared an incident where she was injured by her own cat during a conflict between their feline companions. Despite the incident, Amanda assured listeners that she had received medical treatment for her injuries.
