Linda, a prominent advocate for breast cancer awareness and a star on Loose Women and Celebrity Big Brother, passed away at 65 in January 2025 due to double pneumonia at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. Linda had battled breast cancer since 2005, with a brief remission in 2011 before a recurrence in 2017. Bernie also succumbed to breast cancer in 2013 at the age of 52.

In an interview with My Weekly, Coleen revealed her reluctance to make resolutions due to past failures, expressing a mix of excitement and apprehension about the unknown future in 2026. Despite her persistent desire to participate in Strictly Come Dancing, she shared her disappointment at never being invited, despite her past involvement in Dancing on Ice.
