The upcoming Strictly Come Dancing tour is set to kick off this weekend, with the couples all decked out in glamorous attire and sporting bronzed fake tan once again. Recently unveiled photos showcase the seven competing acts each night, donning their sparkling outfits and surrounded by glittering Glitterballs. Throughout the tour, these pairs will aim to capture the hearts of the audience and impress the judges – Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood – with perfect scores.
The participating couples and their dance routines include Harry Aikines-Aryeetey & Karen performing the Cha Cha and Salsa, George Clarke & Alexis with Viennese Waltz and Charleston, Lewis Cope & Katya showcasing Charleston and Couple’s Choice, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink & Lauren dancing Quickstep and Cha Cha, Ellie Goldstein & Vito presenting Salsa and Couple’s Choice, Vicky Pattison & Kai with Couple’s Choice and Tango, and La Voix & Aljâz performing Paso Doble and Salsa.
Additionally, special guests from a previous series, Layton Williams & Nikita, will grace the stage with an Argentine Tango and Showdance, although they are not competing for the glitterball prize.
The tour commences in Birmingham and will move through various cities including Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow, Nottingham, and culminate at The O2 in London on 15 February. Audience members not only get to enjoy the spectacular routines but also have the power to decide the nightly winner of the Glitterball Trophy.
Reflecting on the tour, Vicky Pattison expressed her nerves regarding the judges, especially Shirley and Craig, while also anticipating La Voix’s spirited interactions. She particularly looks forward to the Newcastle leg of the tour.
