One instance that stood out was when Victoria Beckham backed out of designing Nicola’s wedding dress. According to a source, Victoria allegedly neglected calls and messages from her stylist Leslie Fremar, claiming she was too occupied. Instead, she contacted Nicola’s mother Claudia to convey that she could not proceed with creating the dress, later informing Nicola via text.

Allegedly, Victoria initially offered to design couture dresses for Claudia and the bridesmaids but later reconsidered, proposing ready-to-wear options. This decision led the stylist to explore other options. However, the Beckhams’ associates counter this narrative, asserting that Victoria promptly realized her atelier could not manage the project and promptly informed Claudia and Nicola. Eventually, Nicola wore a Valentino couture gown for the wedding, despite Brooklyn’s assertion that Victoria withdrew from the dressmaking process at the last minute.

These events reportedly transpired in the summer of 2021, eight months ahead of the wedding. Additionally, a Vogue feature highlighted how Nicola and her mother visited the Valentino atelier in Rome multiple times during the year-long dress design process.

Addressing the recent controversy, a guest at Brooklyn’s wedding dismissed his claims about Victoria’s dancing as exaggerated, describing it as awkward rather than inappropriate. Nevertheless, Brooklyn’s remarks have stirred social media ridicule towards Victoria, with speculations arising about the nature of her dance with her son.

Supporting Brooklyn’s account, Stavros Agapiou, who attended the wedding with DJ Fat Tony, initially corroborated the story on social media before later praising Brooklyn for speaking out. Fat Tony humorously likened Victoria’s dance to a scene from the BBC sitcom “Motherland.”
