A 25-year-old Army officer lost his life in a tragic incident during a live-fire training exercise. Philip Muldowney, a Royal Artillery officer, was fatally shot during tactical training at Otterburn Training Area in Northumberland. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) confirmed the unfortunate event, stating that the officer was allegedly shot during a nighttime exercise with Scots Guards.
