Kim Kardashian was surprised when her daughter, North West, requested money from her social media followers. North, who manages the account @kimandnorth on TikTok with adult supervision, has an impressive 20.7 million followers on the platform and around 1.8 million followers on Instagram.
During an Instagram Live chat with North, Kim, who is rumored to be dating Lewis Hamilton, chose not to appear on camera, instead showing her presence by wiggling her fingers. North, whose father is Kanye West, seemed eager for her famous mother to join in.
Expressing her desire for money, North said, “You should just show your face, because I want some money!” Kim, visibly taken aback, responded with a firm “No, we don’t ask for money.”
Kim inquired about what North meant, to which North explained, “Because, TikTok Live, like…” However, Kim clarified that they were on Instagram Live, not TikTok.
Kim humorously pointed out the mix-up, saying, “This isn’t TikTok Live, this is Instagram. So you were, like, kind of messed up for a second.” She then jokingly added, “I thought you were asking me for something,” before laughing. On TikTok, viewers can send virtual gifts to creators during live sessions, contributing to their earnings.
In other news, rumors suggest that Kim is romantically involved with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. The two friends reportedly shared a dinner and couples’ massage at Estelle Manor, each accompanied by their respective security teams. Kim flew in on her £100 million private jet from Los Angeles, while Lewis arrived by helicopter from London.
