Prince Harry is reportedly cautious about Meghan Markle’s intention to expand her As Ever lifestyle brand. The Duke of Sussex, aged 41, is worried about the potential financial risks associated with the brand’s international expansion and marketing expenses. Despite previous criticism of As Ever’s performance in the US, Meghan is eager to tap into overseas markets, including the UK.
A recent website glitch revealed significant inventory levels for various products, such as jars of jam, honey, candles, flower sprinkles tin, and bottles of wine. These revelations have further fueled Harry’s concerns about Meghan’s ambitious plans, although his apprehensions seem to have only aggravated Meghan.
Sources close to the couple have indicated that Harry is urging Meghan to proceed with caution and not rush into expansive initiatives due to financial constraints. However, the initial success of As Ever products, including the swift sell-out of items like jam, honey, and wine upon their summer release, has bolstered Meghan’s confidence in her aspirations to conquer the British market and expand globally.
Meghan remains resolute in her pursuit of market dominance, particularly in the UK jam sector, as she envisions a successful rollout across Europe and Asia. Encouraged by the positive response to her brand and the belief in its potential profitability, Meghan is determined to make significant gains in various markets.
Most recently, Meghan and Harry made a public appearance at this year’s Sundance Film Festival for the debut of the documentary “Cookie Queens,” which they executive produced through their media company, Archewell Productions. The couple exuded enthusiasm as they posed for photographs with the film’s director, Alysa Nahmias, at the event.
