The partner of a young man from Merseyside critically injured in a tragic accident while on vacation has pledged to stand by him in Thailand. Zak Forsyth, 21, was hurt in a scooter crash, sustaining severe injuries including a brain bleed, broken nose, jaw, ankle, and arm. He is currently in a coma with no insurance coverage for medical expenses. His girlfriend, Amy Ekin, has initiated a fundraising campaign to cover his hospital bills.

The fundraiser has already garnered over £18,000 towards the £20,000 target for Zak’s treatment. Amy, a hairdresser from Prescot, plans to remain in Thailand until Zak can return home with her. The couple, celebrating their second anniversary soon, had dreams of relocating to Australia. Zak’s family is seeking assistance to bring him back to the UK for further care.
