Jesy Nelson’s former fiancé, Zion Foster, recently revealed a significant truth he had kept from the singer during her pregnancy. The couple welcomed twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, in May 2025, following a challenging pregnancy marked by complications, including twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS).
During the final stages of Jesy’s pregnancy, Zion, 34, was by her side in the hospital but left briefly to visit his mother. In a candid moment with his mother Maria captured in Jesy’s documentary, Zion expressed the stress and pressure he felt while supporting Jesy through her pregnancy, despite trying to maintain a strong facade for her sake.
Zion admitted feeling overwhelmed but refrained from expressing his true emotions to Jesy to avoid adding to her stress. Maria encouraged him to remain positive and have faith that everything would be okay. Despite the challenges, Jesy praised Zion for being her pillar of strength, describing him as her safe haven.
Both Jesy and Zion, who both grew up in single-parent households, are committed to providing a stable and loving family environment for their daughters. The couple’s split was announced earlier this month, attributing the decision to the strain of dealing with their daughters’ diagnosis of SMA Type 1, a rare condition causing muscle degeneration.
Despite the challenges they faced, Jesy and Zion appeared deeply in love in Jesy’s documentary, “Life After Little Mix,” filmed over the past year. The documentary is available for streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
