A British national is currently facing potential capital punishment in Bali following his alleged possession of 3 pounds of cocaine within his hotel accommodation.
The individual in question, identified as Baath Jarnail Singh aged 53, was apprehended by Indonesian authorities on February 14 at The Legian Mas Beach Inn. The British carpenter is being accused of smuggling the illicit substance onto the island in December of the previous year. It is reported that he processed the cocaine into a paste, subsequently distributing and selling it.
Authorities from the Denpasar police force disclosed that a total of 1.41 kilograms of cocaine, divided into five substantial packages, were discovered in a suitcase located in Singh’s hotel room near the beach. Police chief Leonardo Simatupang stated, “During questioning, he confessed to arriving in Bali on December 20, 2025.”
