Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Sydney. The authorities responded to reports of a stabbing at an intersection in Bondi Beach, Australia, on Friday night. Upon arrival, they discovered a 54-year-old man with stab wounds to his upper body. The man received initial treatment from police before being transferred to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
According to the New South Wales Police, the man had a confrontation with a boy on an e-bike that turned physical. Subsequently, the boy left the scene and returned with another boy, who was reportedly armed with a knife. Both boys allegedly assaulted the man again before fleeing.
The police later apprehended two boys, aged 15 and 17, in the vicinity. The 15-year-old was charged with various offenses including causing harm with intent, assault, possession of a prohibited weapon, and drug-related charges. The 17-year-old was charged with similar offenses.
Both teenagers were denied bail and were scheduled to appear before the Parramatta Bail Division Court the following day.
