A cruel individual who brutally injured a cat by gouging out its eyes, cutting off its tail, and leaving it on a random doorstep is being pursued by authorities. The black cat suffered severe injuries including being disemboweled, having a broken jaw, and other mutilations, indicating deliberate harm. Initially mistaken for a car accident victim, a closer examination revealed the intentional nature of the injuries.
The cat was found dead at a property in Axminster Crescent, Welling, with a high property value. The discovery was made on February 7, prompting a call for any surveillance footage from the area. The RSPCA described the cat’s injuries as distressing, including a broken jaw, facial trauma, tail removal, and other traumatic wounds.
Inspector Clive Hopwood, investigating the case, expressed deep distress at the cat’s condition, emphasizing the possibility of deliberate harm. The cat, neutered and microchipped, was found with outdated contact information on the chip. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward to help solve this heartbreaking case.
