A former President reportedly met his demise in the recent wave of assaults. Former Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was allegedly killed in strikes carried out by Israel and the United States, as per reports from Israeli media on Sunday. Iranian news outlets confirmed the death of the ex-president. Ahmadinejad was reportedly targeted at his residence, with Israeli media characterizing the incident as part of a continuous operation aimed at high-ranking Iranian officials.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad held the presidency in Iran from 2005 to 2013. He was known for his uncompromising rhetoric, adopting a confrontational approach towards Western nations and attracting global attention due to Iran’s nuclear program. His tenure was also marred by the controversial 2009 election results and subsequent widespread protests throughout Iran.
