“Former Apprentice Star Calls Dubai Safer Amid Middle East Turmoil”

Former Apprentice contestant Luisa Zissman has affirmed that despite ongoing missile strikes in the Middle East, Dubai remains a “safer” place compared to the UK, where she is currently taking shelter in her basement.

Having relocated from the UK in December last year, Zissman expressed her anticipation of being able to safely walk alone at night. However, recent events led her and her family to seek refuge in the basement after hearing loud explosions that rattled their residence.

Sharing a selfie from outdoors, the 38-year-old conveyed messages of concern about the situation in Dubai. Despite the unsettling circumstances, she maintained her belief that Dubai was a safer environment than the UK, responding with a simple “Yes!” accompanied by heart emojis to a query on her post.

Zissman documented her time indoors with her children, engaging in baking activities to keep them entertained and safe. Expressing her surreal and frightening experience of hearing the blasts, she expressed confidence in the UAE’s defense capabilities to protect its residents.

Supporting Zissman’s stance, other Dubai residents echoed the sentiment that Dubai was still a safer location compared to the UK amidst the current turmoil. However, some individuals questioned this perspective, highlighting their contrasting experiences in the two regions.

Zissman, known for her appearance on The Apprentice, is married to Irish businessman Andrew Collins, with whom she shares two children. The couple left behind their lavish Hertfordshire home to move to Dubai, attracted by the tax-free income and luxurious lifestyle the city offers.

The recent missile attacks in Dubai, following the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader, have caused chaos and uncertainty in the region. The city’s airports are closed, and flights have been suspended as a safety precaution, urging residents and tourists to avoid travel.

The escalating tensions have led to a series of revenge strikes, with Iran targeting key locations in Dubai, including prominent hotels. The situation has drawn global attention, with leaders such as Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump reportedly briefed on the developments.

The death of Iran’s Supreme Leader has brought about significant repercussions, shaking the Islamic Republic and creating instability in the Gulf region. Alongside the leader, several high-ranking military officials were also killed in the strikes, intensifying the gravity of the situation.
