Israel Engages in Military Operations in Southern Lebanon

Israel has declared that its military personnel are currently engaged in operations in the southern region of Lebanon as part of their ongoing actions against Hezbollah. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have positioned troops at various locations near the border, adopting a proactive defense stance. Over 50 locations in Lebanon have been notified of mandatory evacuations, including multiple districts in Dahiyeh, known for its significant Shia population that is considered a stronghold for Hezbollah support.

A message shared on Telegram by Israel stated that it was targeting “Hezbollah command centers and weapon storage facilities in Beirut.”
