Andrew Gunn, a renowned Disney producer known for his work on successful films like Freaky Friday, Cruella, and Sky High, has passed away at 58 after battling ALS.

In a heartfelt tribute, film writer Blaise Hemingway expressed how Gunn’s influence extended far beyond his films, describing him as a mentor to numerous writers, producers, directors, and executives.

Shawn Ryan, a producer and writer recognized for projects like The Shield and S.W.A.T., mourned the loss of his close friend Gunn to ALS, emphasizing the devastating impact of the disease.

Diagnosed with ALS in 2024, Gunn succumbed to the condition at his home in Toronto, surrounded by his family.
